This event is free and open to the public. Recommended for ages 13+
Kids can bring their LEGO creations to life in this fun session hosted by Dave Pickett, co-author of The LEGO Animation Book. He’ll show them how to create their own LEGO animation studios, complete with camera cradle and backdrop. Then using the Stop Motion Studio app for iPhone, they’ll film their own stop-motion LEGO movies, and even screen them live in store. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

I will be leading a LEGO animation workshop at Volumes Bookcafe, and providing all sorts of spooky and supernatural minifigures and monsters for you to create your very own scary-good brickfilm! Admission also provides a free drink ticket.
I'll be hosting two events as part of the Logan Center for the Arts' Five Year Anniversary! From 2pm-3:30pm in Room 603, I'll be running a LEGO animation workshop that will conclude with a mini-film festival where we'll screen the brickfilms that everyone has made. Then, from 4pm-11pm on the DelGiorno Terrace, I'll be leading the creation a freestyle LEGO mural.
